First up, out of this world customer service. A ThermaRest sleeping pad I had purchased about 3 years ago gave up the ghost on my second last night in northern Ontario. (My hammock saved me on the last night!) Emailed Cascade upon my return, sent photos. Next day, I called in as I need the pad replaced STAT for my next trip. Michael M. picked up my call. NONEXISTENT SERVICE One year ago, I purchased a neoair xlite small from a German company called Sportfits.de. The product arrived with a hole, which I noticed upon testing it. I called the retailer’s costumer service but they told me it could not be replaced in time for my holiday (the reason I bought it for). We then agreed that I would patch it myself and send it back for reparation after the holiday. Their support is awful. Submitted an online form twice, asking for help. Each time I got an automated response with a case number right away. Then it's complete silence. Terrible!
Never got my order and its been 7 weeks!!! Spent over $400 an now I'm taking legal action for fraud!
I sent in my pad because it was deflating overnight with no visible damage. Cascade determined it was under warranty and sent me a new pad free of charge, which unfortunately was prompty stolen from the mail room. Upon communicating this to customer service, they sent me a replacement, which I safely received. Very satisfied with the customer service.
