The staff give kids the wrong meds, and they are all young and severely under qualified. In addition to this, there is no free time with 14 hour days. It is incredibly stressful and making kids anxious and exhausted.
Great support, therapists who care, and amazing for helping with OCD and anxiety. Amazing food, lessons, and activities. Staff really do care, and give you good tools. I like how it’s not like you’re locked up. I was a student and i wish i stayed longer, it’s a bittersweet journey but you learn a lot about yourself with the beautiful view in midway and therapy. A year ago, we made the decision to send our daughter to Cascade Academy. Without sharing her story too publicly, we can share that she had struggled very hard for two years and in and out of other treatment programs. An Educational Consultant suggested Cascade. Cascade is an outstanding facility. Unlike other therapeutic boarding schools, they attend to each individual child. The staff and owners have years of training and personalize all therapies, activities, experiences to each individual. It is so clear that they do NOT accept just anyone... Our teenage daughter is currently attending Cascade Academy and we know she is at the right place. The staff, nurse and clinical team have been excellent in providing open communication and involving us and our daughter in her therapeutic process. The therapy she is receiving is highly individualized to her specific anxiety issues and she has made great progress in the three months she has been there.
