When booking this restaurant, I was unaware that booking a "table" meant booking a bar seat shoved into a corner, even though we requested a patio seat. Service was then extremely rushed, and at times, service staff was rude and unaccommodating. A table booking is a standard practice across industry, and this restaurant should cease to seat reserved tables at cramped bar seats.
This place feels like a hidden European restaurant right in Newport Beach. Beautiful surroundings, quality ingredients, great wine, and food that feels carefully prepared. Definitely worth making a reservation.
From the moment we walked in, the hospitality stood out. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever making us feel rushed. Add in the incredible food and atmosphere and it made for a fantastic evening.
Has very. high hopes for this place. We have been to the Italian restaurant across the courtyard, Bouna Forchetta, and really love the food, so tried to give this place a try. Tuesday night, the outdoor patio was relatively packed. We were surprised and very hopeful. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server showed up quickly and got our drink orders. CasaDam� has such a unique feel. It’s elegant without feeling overly formal, and the entire experience feels thoughtfully put together. Great food, wonderful wine, and genuinely attentive service.
