Updated December 2024. Communication has gotten even worse. Events are sad. No holiday decorations in main clubhouse as of December 15. They are painting both buildings but no one can say when they are ACTUALLY painting. We were asked to remove everything from our patios on October 21st. My rent has been increased $400 in two years since I moved here. With that increase, I have seen little benefits to the residents. The butterfly app does not work and the key fob does not work on every door. There are parking problems. The homeless and panhandling is always around. It’s just a place I live at, not a great place to be.
I highly recommend Overture San Marcos and working with Alexander if you're looking for a beautiful, accommodating place for yourself or loved ones. Alexander helped us find an apartment for my in-laws, who were relocating from Chicago, and managed to get everything set up within a two-week turnaround. We are very happy with our new home and our little Maltese likes the sunshine and the pretty view on our balcony as well! The employees are very friendly and kind.
