I have been considering moving to this community for quite some time and have been closely following the reviews. While I have seen both positive and negative feedback, the recent decision to require residents to use Fetch for package deliveries has been the biggest concern by far. One of the worst managed properties I’ve ever lived in. Not dog friendly, no disabled parking where needed, you can’t receive any packages here and no call box at the gate so guests or visitors can’t reach tenants. They removed all cushions from chairs in exterior communal areas so tenants don’t congregate outside and any attempt to rectify anything gets ignored. You’ll be in and out. Don’t waste your money here.
My elder husband and I have been here on and off since the beginning of Casa Mara. We are “snowbirds” as I own a store here and in Maryland. We inquired about the fetch package system as we found out via rampant chatter at the pool that they ripped out the high security mailing system that we have come to rely on for medication, high end/luxury purchases and everything in between. Greg and Bobby have kindly touched upon the issue with the mail room at the building which was once highly secure, organized and you could order from anywhere and know that you would receive that package without getting lost. Now they are making you sign up for a third party company called Fetch that costs money and is in violation of our lease. I want to start by acknowledging Bobby’s original review. He said it first, and after experiencing this myself, I completely agree. This needs to change, and until it does, nobody should move here. As of April 1, 2026, the building no longer accepts deliveries from major carriers like UPS, FedEx, or DHL. The only service allowed on site is USPS.
