Booked a night at the hotel and reso for our anniversary night. I told them it was for an anniversary. They did nothing for us. At all. Got waters then sat for 10 minutes until a manager had to come over and take orders. He was okay but could've bothered to explain literally anything about the menu like a server would at any establishment like this. Server comes. Doesn't ask how the food is. My drink sucks. We came to Café Don Alfonso for my birthday dinner as a party of seven, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The cheese wheel pasta was delicious and creamy when it first arrived, but it cooled down very quickly and became dry. That alone wouldn’t have ruined the evening, but the service absolutely did. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. For me the highlights were the gluten free bread, octopus, and the honey latte.

The romaine lettuce had brown spots on the stems. The chicken was bland and the polenta watery. The lasagna was no better--the red sauce tasteless and the meat flavorless. Service was outstanding.
