I recently dined at your restaurant with my two children and was very disappointed. The food quality was below average — honestly, airplane food tastes better. The pizza base was almost burnt on two sides. We wanted to order dessert, but our server was occupied with another table for a long time. When I asked another server for help, I was told I had to wait for our assigned server. After waiting 15 minutes, my kids started crying, so I had to pay and leave in a rush. Wouldn’t recommend coming here - they charged me $60 for a small plate of plain pasta that also came out literally cold. It was an additional $20 for a small piece of plain chicken. The service honestly wasn’t that great considering how much you’re paying for the food. For sure will not be coming back.
We had Sunday brunch at Casa Don Alfonso, and it was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was elegant, relaxed, and welcoming, making it the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch. The food was exceptional—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. A special thank you to our server, Paul, who was an absolute delight. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience truly memorable. I highly recommend Casa Don Alfonso for Sunday brunch. We will definitely be back!
I went with a group from work and this was a poor dining experience. Service was blah, food was blah, and it made me happy that it wasn't on my dime. Lukewarm tenderloin and melting sorbet didn't cut it. The highlight of the evening was seeing the server stack a mountain of finished plates in the room like I was at a greasy spoon diner. I'd think the Ritz could find a better tenant for this space.
Honestly, the only redeeming quality was the atmosphere and the appetizer. We ordered the Lobster Ziti, the lobster was over cooked and the sauce was watery in a very bad way and there was just no flavor. for a $300 meal I would have expected more. save yourself the money and go somewhere else for your celebrations.
