Bought an expensive cassata cake and the custard filling was runny. Pretty sure it was frozen.
Just can't say enough how good their food is and the variety of healthy foods they offer. This place is a lot more then just sweet treats! We stopped in for lunch. Will be back for sure.
OMGoodness! This cake was the bomb. It is an Italian Cassatta cake (very different from the American version with Strawberries and Bavarian cream). This version is made with Ricotta cheese, bits of cherries and mini chocolate chips. I requested accents of gold and black and she nailed (Margie Axelrod) nailed it. I now have a new bakery. Thank you, Margie, for making our special occasion spectacular.
We ordered a cake for my son and future daughter in law's wedding. The cake was not at all as advertised. The writing on it looked like a kid did it. They did redo it, but it still was not what it shoukd have been and they offered nothing to me. It was very expensive I could have gotten something better at the grocery store.
