Been coming here for almost a decade BUT have been on this section of the South Fork since I was 5 years old. Maybe 4. That’s 55 years. What do I think of the River here? Mother’s remains were scattered on Angel Falls in Oct 2024. So much to explore. What do I think of the cottage? Betty has owned it since 1968 and it really is a trip back in time. There are rapids for my children to tone down, fishing and swimming holes; up river there are huge, fallen rock formations to discover, huge catfish and bass to catch and a wonder... read more
This place is amazing! I will definitely be back. The B&B is right on the river and has access to 50+ acres of wilderness across a little foot bridge. The full kitchen makes this place. The beds were nice, the fireplace was great, and the outdoor fire ring is another plus. They have 2 canoes and a kayak you can use. I could go on but check out the listing.
Great place to stay for a family get away.
