If you like custard tarts, this place is the ideal spot to get your fix. Personally I love all things custard and custard tarts -- Chinese style, Macau style, Portuguese. Casa de Nata specializes in the latter, Portuguese style (i.e. pastel de nata), which has a laminated, layered crust and a blistered, caramelized custard. We got the pistachio and original, and both were so delicious. For a fun dessert, I'd recommend this place. And they have a vegan option, too!
Food attendees is friendly and not too sweet about the taste.
Reminds me of Portugal, stopping by to get a pastel de nata on a whim. Easily the best pastel de nata I’ve had outside of Portugal, first one was so good I had to get a 6 pack to bring home. Weren’t as good after the transport, but still super solid.
We returned from Portugal a month ago and were hoping to find authentic natas locally (because the "Portuguese custard tarts" we'd had locally before were not like the ones in Portugal). This place is it! So glad to discover it. Btw, the overall rating of this place should be closer to 5.0 because some bozos rated this place 1 or 2 stars expecting Chinese style egg tarts, when it says "Portugal" all over the restaurant.
