I stopped a physical fight from breaking out because everyone has trauma right. the house manager Amber chose not to come out of the office and de-escalate the situation. I take accountability for my actions and should have stayed out of it. I was discharged because I allegedly "made a mocking face at other clients". 5 other women were forced to leave as well because of they're involvement. They are not interested in helping anyone with addiction or mental disorders - my daughter was not even there a week and I had to give her the news that her Grandpa was put in hospice - she was upset and kicked a chair outside - discharged her for kicking a chair - when they know she is diagnosed with BPD … how about helping them cope rather than punishing ?!
They focus more on enforcing their rules than treating addiction disorder,, in my opinion. In that I mean that I received 3 disciplinary reviews.; 2 for forgetting to report that I had completed my chore(I did do the chores) and the 3rd was for leaving group without permission as I was uncontrollably crying and felt the need to leave. They told me if I received a 4th I would be discharged. They are very punitive. I know how to keep my areas clean out here in the world and I know how to keep a job.
