My wife needed an ambulance and they said it wasn't important enough to take her
My mother was sick with Covid called 911 while she was quarantined in her house. She was put of breath and forgetting things periodically on/off. She also has CPD, Diabetes alone with hyper tension. They arrived qnd the female emt kept insisting that the hospital wasn't going to do nothing for her. Needless to say my mom was admitted and still in there. She is needing 15 liters of oxygen. Scheduled a transport with stretcher one week in advance for a move from one house to another for a 90 year old elderly dementia relative. Dispatch Connie made excuses all afternoon to me on why the transport pickup time was delayed. Every time I called to see where the driver was, it was another excuse, finally 5 hours later they arrived.
