The facility does not have nurses on sight after 5pm or on weekends. Meds are distributed without a nurse on-site.
We cannot say enough about Carveth Village and their staff when caring for my mom. Always helpfull, great care and the food is excellent. Very nice home.
While weve had some issues with staff and management, overall, it has been a good experience (no place is perfect, after all). Most of the aides are very caring and patient. The food is good and it doesnt "smell" like many nursing homes/assisted living homes. I would recommend Carveth, but as with any place like this (or a nursing home), I would also recommend frequent visits and listening to your loved ones concerns.
my mother, age 94, passed away today at Carveth Village. I could not believe the intensity of the care and loving manner of the owners and staff at Carveth during her stay. It is a lovely, homey, facility-very clean and orderly. Everyone involved with my mother s care during her final days was exemplary. I would recommend this facility to anyone. The general atmosphere is more like a cozy home than an assisted living facility. My mothers room was roomy enough that we were able to bring some of her furniture from home, to mak... read more
