Stopped in for a Fudgy the Whale and they did have it, which was a plus. That said, the location wasn’t very well stocked overall and felt a bit limited. Not the best experience, but it worked out for what we needed.
Came in with my 3 year old and was not greeted immediately. Server continued on her task of cleaning instead of taking our orders. After waiting 6 minutes for her to clean she finally took our orders. She moved so slow like she did not care for her job at all. I watched her put overflowed ice cream sundae into a bag with the other items I ordered. What can I say? Fudgie every year for 40+ years still brings a smile.
I don't know how this place stays in business? I don't think I have ever gone to the Brick, NJ location on Drum Point and was able to get what I want. The rude couple that runs the place never have any of the advertised flavors or special topping/mixes. While they don't have what I want or what Carvel advertised they are supposed to have on any given night they seem to go above and beyond when it's BOGO "mysteriously" not having something they had the day before or after.
