Do not go there they over priced me on junk speakers the installer installed my stereo so messed up it has a big gap on one side of the stereo in the indash kit he used small gaged wire to my speakers they didn't tune .my amps radio station do not come in clear it sounds like shit he drilled to do the install and left metal and plastic shavings every where theese guys are supposed to be pro 's totally opposite don't go there unless you are prepared disappointed they are rip offs
These guys are douche bags, plus, whoever drives the truck with the kicker livin loud pickup truck drives like an asshat. You'll never get my business again
cartunes – they have the best work ethic. I have been so happy with all the work they do to my cars. They have worked on everone of my cars. and the prices and buy for the best. and if you have a problem call them and they will help you fix it.
Friendly people , however there prices change from what they first say, I know I can buy the parts and can install myself, but sometimes time is a factor and I like to support local bussiness, this one after 3 repeat over charges I can care less about if they don't get the rest of my bussiness, my other 2 vehicles will find someone else-- also somewhat of hack jobs- its ok I guess for a quick fix, but the rest is on the sad side, I think it's Joel? Is the one I wouldnt trust again
Great Customer Service – I wanted Satellite radio in my car. Went shopping around at major electronic stores and didn't get much help. I've heard about Car Tunes before from people that have had work done there. The staff was very knowledgeable in what I needed. I ordered the radio on line, then took it to them to install in my brand new car. I was concerned about scratches or damage during installation. They reassured me that there would be no damage. Great Service – The thing that sets them apart from the other shops is their customer service. Very polite and not overly pushy. They even gave me advice about buying products on line and didn't make me feel cheap for asking. The two cars I have had worked on there were both done in a profesional, timely manor. I can't speak for all the employees but if you have a question talk to the manager.
the greatest place in utah – i come from california and i know car tunes is the the best place in utah best customer service especially the installers they know what their doing and on trouble shoots their the best.
Car Tunes Rip-Off – Do NOT go to this place, they will rob you blind! They told me that they had to take out my remote starter in order to install a car alarm. After speaking with several electronics installers, all of which said that was nonsense! I didn't even get my remote starter back, which is because Car Tunes will try to sell it off, and they haven't heard the last of me. I didn't even get proof that the two systems would not work together. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF
These Guys Should Be Shut Down – I had the same experience as everyone else besides the guy who must work for cartunes. There were no prices on anything and the install job was awful. Please go anywhere else but cartunes. These guys are very dishonest. I found this link from someone who went to the Orem store and had the same issues as the Layton store. Go to ripoffreport dot com and do a search for car tunes.
