DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME: Sent BMW HU to them, , " No Signal" radio, park sensors worked etc just no screen. told there was nothing wrong with it, it came back and worked for 40mile, sent it back to them. told it needed a new NAND fitting, etc. told it would cost £700 on the phone, when I emailed, its was then £720 + vat, hmmm. told them to just send it back, arrived back. Nothing now works, no radio no sensors, dead. when I phoned about it, just started laughing. Absolute joke, avoid this place.
Had an amplifier problem with my Lexus which the dealer had quoted an eyewatering amount to replace without any commitment that it actually was the amplifier. After some searching I found Cartronics who appeared to have some experience of fixing Lexus amps so I contacted them to see if they could help. They suggested bringing in the car so they could confirm the correct diagnosis since there was a charge if I just sent the amp and they found no fault, so I did that. The infotainment system on my 65 plate Range Rover Sport failed so I took it to the JLR accredited garage that looks after it. They had to liaise with a Main Dealership. After 2 weeks and the changing of all components advised by the dealership no luck, the Main dealer said they need the vehicle for diagnosis at £200ph. I found Cartronics, sent them 3 images, 3 emails, dropped the car off at 09:00, diagnosis by 11:30, got the component in stock do you want us to proceed?, price was fair .. yes please. DO NOT TRUST THEM! My Porsche Specialist sent the PCM unit from my 981 for fault diagnosis & repair. Diagnosis is £70 or should I say misdiagnosis. They claimed it required a new logic board: £1025 + VAT. It actually required a new hard drive at a cost of £250. I know of 5 other cases of this scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM! It's about time that Trading Standards investigated. Totally untrustworthy business.
