I went to them to have a Smart Start put on my car on April 8th. Even though they had several customers, they were very helpful, and informative. They made an uncomfortable situation bearable. The only issue I had was with the device. While I was "training" to use the device, it violated me, obviously an error. Smart Lock refused to refund me for the violation, insisting that the device was working probably. So, loss of 1 star is actually against Smart Start, not Car Toys. My experience here was good until 2-15-25 when road guard said it was ok to go to my appointment earlier than expected for due date so I went (didn’t even know it wasn’t possible to do ) and was charged ($25.88 plus the $114.00 )on my card, I was told by manger I wasn’t able to get a refund cause he will be out of business or credit for my next appointment.. I’m very confused cause my services wasn’t provided so I was told to come back next week Saturday to pay plus another $25.88 that it’s fair to me being a pay customer ... read more
Really rude on the phone - was going to take my car here but based on the phone call maybe not. If this is how they act on the phone, they might key my car while I’m looking away in person.
