Our a/c quit working today, late in the afternoon on one of the hottest days so far this summer. We are fairly new to this area and did not know who to call. After googling companies, I settled on Carter’s. Judging by their reviews, they have a great reputation. 2 men arrived and had no idea what they were doing. After about an hour they decided to take apart the entire fireplace insert and lay it out on my floors and rug. They took apart the wires and logs. Finally decided they couldn't fix it and just laid all the wires and logs in the insert. Couldn't even get the logs back on the grate. It took me an hour to steam clean the soot out of my rug and mopped my floor 3 times.
