I recently went to Carter's for a groom's cake and other desserts for a rehearsal dinner. They were really great to work with. They captured the groom's cake to perfection (a Lego-head). The macaroons, cheesecake bites, and brownies were equally as delicious as the cake. I highly recommend them!
My son and I go here for a cookie every Wednesday after preschool. They know him by name and are always so nice to us. They have phenomenal baked goods and they're currently taking donations for western NC. Just a great family owned small business.

We just drove through Wendell for the first time. I ordered 2 lemon poppy seed scones and 2 muffins. Both were very delicious. Scones were buttery nice taste. Very enjoyable. The chocolate chip muffin was great. I am not sure they used cocoa in them but whatever they use DON'T change the recipe. We will be back to visit. A traveller's from Cary NC.
I have stopped eating bread from the store & now only eat Carters fresh baked bread. Their cupcakes are moist with the perfect amount of frosting. All of the flavors are delicious
