My mother spent her last two years of her 86 years living at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living. She said to us many times she wished she had moved to Walnut Ridge "sooner". All of her needs were addressed promptly with kindness and she was so happy! Our family was overwhelmed with her positive response given such a perceived difficult transition for our beloved mother. No place is perfect, but I am so impressed with my mother's care in the Horizons neighborhood at Mebane Ridge. They just called me to ask that I not visit for the next week because they have had 2 cases of the flu on the assisted living side. They are more concerned about the residents than what is easier for them! The facility is always clean and it is clear that the staff care deeply for the residents. My mother lights up when she sees various staff members. Thank you for doing the right thing and not the easy thing.
