What a shining GEM on the Crystal coast! This facility is spectacular! Clean, thoughtfully designed, staffed with polite friendly people with great enthusiasm. LOVE the FAMILY environment and how you involve the kids in the activities! It was mind blowing to see all the age groups of racers! I loved the attention given to the participants and the chat forums for the winners! Bobby Watson you exude great passion for what you do here! We are fortunate to have you and Carteret Speedway in our community!

Thank you so much for coming out unfortunately we had extra time due to the accident which thank God both drivers are going to be alright. So we brought out the kids and try to entertain them while waiting for reports on drivers. Not good in the least. Hope you have fun but not for true race fans
I believe there was a problem with management. Felt like race was put together at the last minute. Lots of racers didn't show up. To many people talking on the Mike at the same time and when there was the bad wreck there was total silence for a long time. Someone should have stayed on air to entertain the crowd during clean up and the lights coming on was a mess. You don't stop a race and make those guys stay in there cars while you run a show of dancing with the Stars. Just very poor management at the track!!!
Agree, that last night was a total screw up. Did not pay to see a dance show because someone did not want to turn the lights on to early. Total screw up. The other thing was had a lady smoking in the family section right in front of the "NO SMOKING" sign. I am on Oxygen and told one of the staff about it, he said there was nothing he could do about it. She was sitting right behind us. Why put up the signs if you won't in force the rule. I don't know if I will go back, had fun but, the announcing was annoying.
I like the track, venue. Just like everyone stated the management needs a little. Need a organizer who kept everyone on a timetable. Have a preplanned time table and stick to it. It seemed like management was over excited about the opening and forgot that good planning still needed to happened. Easter Sunday was a tough day to get a lot of cars out. Hope that gets better Last year we had a great time
Great opening night (April 16)with several close races. Look forward to attending the remaining races at the best small track racing venue in the Carolina's.
