First time seeing Dr Carter and he really took his time and explained everything so thoroughly. He’s the first physician to ever make me feel like he truly cares to help and listens. I feel like I’m in the best hands! Really one of a kind
Dr. Carter is amazing. I highly recommend my rheumatologist. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to listen carefully, and always makes me feel understood and heard during my appointments. I truly appreciate his compassionate approach and the way he explains everything clearly. It’s reassuring to have a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and works with them to find the best treatment plan.
I've been with Dr Carter since he was at USF and followed him to his private practice (it's been over 20 years) He's easy to talk to, easy to contact and you'll get replies quickly. Works hard to make you feel you're best, and sometimes that's difficult depending on your condition. The staff is fantastic also. He's Truly The Best Rheumatologist in the Tampa Bay Area!
After rescheduling my appointment today with another provider ( not even Dr.Carter himself ) I received a call and was told that I am being let go as a patient and labeled non compliant. I was also told I had multiple no shows - which is not true. I was hospitalized for 2 months due to blood clots from lupus and had to reschedule 1 appointment and the 2nd appointment was rescheduled today. 0 no shows to this office. The staff is polite and courteous. Dr. Carter is attentive, he listens and he is very informative and straightforward. I love this office!
