I had a bathroom fan replaced over the bathtub and the tub was left a complete mess from all the debris that had fallen from the ceiling including dirt, drywall, pieces of cut wire, etc.. I had to ask him to clean up and provide a broom. I wish I had taken a photo. I was surprised at how little regard he had for the cleanliness of the work. Steve Carter and his crew handle everything from simple to complex electrical work, and they do it right every time. What separates them is how they go beyond the job — they helped me work through the red tape with SDG&E and Edison in two different cities, and that kind of initiative is rare. After receiving an obscene quote to wire up 8 outlets on my newly installed cook islands, I called Steve Carter Electric. It was a rush as we were trying to complete this work before the tile was installed & I only gave SCE one day to turn this around. I needed light fixture replaced in a very hard to reach area. No problem for Steve! He called when he said he would. He showed up promptly as scheduled. He did an awesome job! So happy with the results.
foreman Rocky did an excellent job on our fourth project with Steve. Carter were out of town. Contractors didn’t know who to trust Steve Carter came in whether it was hourly or flat rate and continues to be the exception to the rule. I can refer him to my clients without any funny business
