I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I have to share my experience. After a good experience a couple years ago with a knockoff sensor job, I came back to have a job done on my steering column. Wayne told me not only were my shocks leaking and needed replacement, but all my brakes were dangerously bad and needed full replacement of rotors and pads. Went to another shop, where they lifted the car, removed the tires, and showed me all my brakes looked very new, with 10mm left all around. Rotors still had machine flat surfaces.... read more

They replaced my transmission in a timely manner and beat everyone elses price! I even recieved a warranty along with it for that extra peace of mind. Carter’s automotive is the best automotive shop in the DFW Forney area. They were the first shot to be honest they don’t try to nickel and Dan you everyone there is friendly and straightforward. If you need something done to your car I strongly recommend you visit them first before anywhere else not fire stone not Christian Brothers not MBT none of them. This is the place to come.
I used them for an oil change before and it was a great deal and barely more than the cost I could do it myself so I planned on going back for additional services. Called to get a quote for a fuel filter change and they quoted me near $300 with 90 minutes of labor. The filter costs $25 for a genuine GM filter and takes literally 8 minutes to change and prime, so that was a major disappointment.
