As a mechanic myself, I use him for safety and other thing I cannt handle, him and his crew are great!
We've had four of our cars repaired here (bodywork) and they've always done a great job for a resonable price. They also do a thorough rust proofing for all our vehicles in the fall. Note that for non insurance jobs they are usually booked weeks if not months in advance so take that into account. Remeber quality workmanship takes time so you can't rush it. Took a vehicle there and they looked at it and then backed it out and i was out side having a smoke during that time saw one if the mechanics pouring oil along the ground to the front of my vehicle from the garage door in the dirt. Then they come and tell me the transmission is leaking. I went and looked there a line of oil on ground none underneath vehicle or any indication on the shop floor. If you enjoy dropping off your car and then having it completely ignored while it sits outside in the rain for a week, Carter Automotive is the place for you! I was told to bring my classic car in, assured they’d have a look—spoiler alert: they didn’t. Not even a courtesy call. Just radio silence while my vehicle got soaked in the lot like it was part of a weather experiment.
