We paid for a rebuilt transmission to replace a bad transmission in my husband’s 2009 Toyota Tacoma. After driving it less than 500 miles, the transmission wouldn’t go past 1st gear. The owner took it back and informed us that he is ordering a new transmission for the truck with a new warranty. It did take a few weeks to get the truck back, but they honored the warranty. If you plan on using this mechanic you better bring a lawyer and make sure any warranties are in your name through the company selling the warranty not in a company's name that doesn't own the vehicle. We had them install a transmission, we paid and they even had one of our parents pay without our knowledge told us it had a 1 year 30 thousand mile warranty Carter even printed us off proof of our warranty when we asked because the first recipe didn't say anything about a warranty even though they had all been selling us a war... read more
Did an outstanding job installing my monster triple disc clutch on my high hp Camaro. Has been beat on and abused with no issues. Would recommend Carters for clutch jobs!
I have had to use Cater’s services on several occasions. If I am looking for automotive repair, I won’t trust anyone else. Cater and his team do exceptional work. They always do their work in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I have never had to wait very long for my repair work to be completed. I am not at all automotive-savvy, so having a service center that can perform this work for me quickly and respectfully is always a plus. I also have never had to make a return trip for the same problem.
