The river was wonderful. We did the lazy river side and there were plenty of mildly thrilling drops and depth. Definitly put a life jacket on under 13 though…Nice and refreshing-our tubes were good as well, and the parking was easy enough. Here’s where this place falls short. The bathrooms or lack there of is ridiculous. There are places for rafting in Tennessee that have whole locker rooms with showers and stuff-this place has porto-potties that are absolutly disqusting and a hose. No soap no real bathrooms. The experience on the water was good, the issue I had was with one of the staff members when we initially arrived. He couldn’t even answer simple questions without saying something slick after. I first asked how the tubes connect since we’ve seen photos online and he cuts me off and said,”you don’t needa worry about that yall don’t needa be holding hands.” That was my first impression on this establishment. The staff was very friendly and informative. The river was very enjoyable and exciting, but be aware if you do the 3 hour trip there are some rapids that can take the tube out from under you. Great family day on the river.
