This is a great place to spend the day. It has some rapids but is not too bad. I've been taking my grandson there since he was 5.
Such a fun time
The river was relaxing. Only a couple of places in the adventure section that were quicks drops. Very shallow and you spend a lot of time trying to get unstuck from the rocks. The main issue was when you have to wait for a small church bus to take you back to your car. It started thundering and lightning and pouring rain. We stood in the rain for almost an hour. People started using the tubes to try to stay dry and not freezing from the storm. If you could get back to your car quicker it would be so much better.
