I had a great experience with CarStar, Midland. The manager LEE of this shop fixed my car Windshield in no time, even though it only had a small crack. On top of that, he went the extra mile and helped with some additional work, which I really appreciated. The service was quick, professional, and very kind. It’s not often you come across someone so helpful and genuine. I will definitely be coming back in the future if I need anything for my car. Thank you so much for the excellent service!
They called me and said my car was ready to be picked up. So I returned my rental and was driven over, only for my car to NOT be done. Horrible experience
Not a whole lot to add on to what other people have already described in detail quite well in terms of customer service being poor, but I can definitely confirm it’s true. From phone call to in person, the customer service team was extremely disappointing, the staff were rude, the manager was very unprofessional and rude and made it such a difficult experience. I had previous estimates from 5 other "auto-body " shops in Midland and prices ranged from 400 - 1000 to correct the minor flaw. I decided to head to CarStar to have an appraisal done for the bodywork on my Highlander . The appraiser was extremely busy and there were no appointments available for the next two weeks. Lee the owner had a look. He carefully examined my vehicle and decided right then and there (in the middle of a parking lot!!) to analyze and take care of the problem. Carstar Midland took care of the insurance damage appraisal and did the repairs on my SUV. While it took almost a week for our car to begin getting assessed, the repair itself took about 2 weeks once parts arrived and you could tell the level of detail technicians had when diagnosis issues/damage and outlining the repairs. Staff were always happy to give an update when I asked and answer my questions. Coordinating pick up with a business that's not open on weekends or late on weekdays is tough when you live far away.
