Went to get a quote for a small dent in my car. The quote I received was over 2000$ and I would not have my car for 4 days. I went to my dealership and they quoted me 180$ including labor to fix my dent. I would encourage everyone to get another quote done somewhere else especially if you are not going through insurance.
The car seems to be fixed and in working order. The 11 day delay was not their fault as they were waiting for parts. The broken glass piece from the passenger side mirror was an unfortunate surprise on back seat floor as found by my toddler grandson. It was the entire glass piece. The communication was poor as they called but did not leave a message to say the car was ready.I called them as I recognized the number.
I took my vehicle down to Carstar last Wednesday afternoon and they were supposed to email me a copy of the estimate the next day and now 6 days later I haven't received it yet.
Car get worst then it was before. They fix the front bumper and repaint it but they didn't fix the front grill, they bend one black piece trim, didn't clip one properly and get my rear bumper scratch in their lot.
