I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Cars on Cook. Our experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. We purchased a vehicle for $16,000, which ended up being around $2,000 more than the original advertised asking price. We were advised that the motor had been replaced prior to our purchase, and there were receipts showing close to $10,000 worth of parts and work completed. Paid $9-10k for a Hyundai, was told it had been fully serviced and checked before putting out in the yard. Owner informed us it had no mechanical issues. Had it less than 2 months before it broke down. Our mechanic informed us the car had clearly never been serviced and had oil leaking throughout the entire engine. Needs a whole new engine costing upwards of 7k. Dealership refused to take any responsibility for knowingly selling a lemon. Wouldn't recommend buying anything from them. Dodgy dealership.
