Snapped off an exhaust stud in the head and absolutely could not get it out (turns out it was installed with red loctite). Took the bike to Cars and Coffee garage where David and Travis presented me a few options: attempt to drill out the remaining stud, oversize the hole and install a helicoil, or disassemble the whole front end in order to get a welder in there to weld a nut onto the stud. Cars and Coffee Garage did a fantastic job with electrical repairs and some welding work on my bus camper. A lot of shops were not willing to touch this project due its custom nature. David and Travis were very knowledgable in electrical diagnostics and quickly found the cause of the issues i was having. In addition, they were able to fix a few small welds that had failed as a result of the constant rattling! I’m sure these repairs will last for years to come. We had a disappointing experience with David and Coffee and Cars regarding our FJ40. The vehicle spent nearly a year in his shop, during which we were often spoken to condescendingly and charged for simply stopping by to check on the progress. After taking the vehicle to another shop in Houston, we discovered that much of the work done was incorrect, leading to further issues.
