What I’ve discovered from working with this hospital at the ER is that the billing company for the ER doctors will lie to you. They will tell you they’ve already gone through insurance when they haven’t, which is either double billing or simply being too lazy to file insurance. I’ve verified with all sides that this is actually what happened.
