Had an appointment today and was refused service because I did not desire to have my Driver's license scanned and placed on their system. I showed them my license but that was not good enough. The manager was a bit condescending. This is not law, it was simply their "policy". I am sure this is not ethical behavior on the Dentists part. My understanding is that scanning reduces insurance fraud but it multiplies personal identity fraud exponentially. Overall very disappointed. What would they do if I did not have ... read more
