Just received a call from Carrington asking to schedule a payment. NEVER been late, NOT going to be LATE and they are calling now. Always paid between 28th and 3rd of the month. I have paid on time every time for 5 years and just like the last 5 years on time payment will be maid. For some odd reason they decide to start calling customer at the first of the month to schedule payments. The Carrington employee who helped me was Austin Knisley out of the Aliso Viejo, CA location. He was extremely courteous, prompt and gave the impression that Carrington is all about helping their clients fulfill their financial needs.

Dealt with Carrington out of California and was totally disappointed. After 3 weeks into trying to buy my home they said everything was on track then they just stopped corresponding. I mean seriously not a word. No answer to my phone calls, my emails or my texts. Would Never recommend them to anyone.

My second mortgage was sold to Carrington. The first contact I recieved from them stated that my loan balance was almost $70,000 more than the $35,000 I borrowed from the original lender. I asked for a statement, they refused to supply one. My personal information that was transfered to Carrington from my original lender, was compromised during a data breach after the transfer. I was also contacted by a company named Ursus on Carrington's behalf stating they "misplaced" my mortgage note..and that I needed to resign a replace... read more
