How could this business get an A+ rating? They are crooks! Someone is pocketing my escrow payments. They are charging me double escrow.. may have to sell my house because of their shady practices.. Someone needs to investigate them.. they are taking advantage of people charging them whatever they feel.. please, please investigate this company before they do more damage to people and cause them to ***********.. Crooks!

Terrible customer service. In attempt to pay off my debt early I am sending some extra money with every payment. They sent the extra back and said they have no way to process additional funds to principle.

There are so many issues with this company I dont know where to start. First, with the **** poor customer service to the shady payment practices. This company needs to be looked into immediately.

Since my loan was sold to this company I have had nothing but frustration and mistrust. A few years ago I started sending 2 payments; one for monthly payment and one for extra principal payment. They never credited my monthly payment and it took weeks of daily phone calls, a trip to the bank, and numerous faxes to prove I paid. They didn't like the printout from the bank I faxed to them showing the cleared check. Unfortunately our home loan got sold to Carrington Mortgage Services and now Im stuck dealing with them until we sale or refinance! First off just getting someone on the phone is painful, then on top of that its like they dont know whats going on.I called bc my new homeowners insurance wasnt paid, which might have been my fault as I didnt confirm the insurance company sent out the declaration page. S*** SHOW! The worst experience I have ever had. They bought my loan, I was never contacted that it was sold or bought. My money was being placed in everything but the payment. Showed I was late when I was actually 2 months ahead. Called to have this fixed in the beginning of April. Called once a week, & was promised each time it would be resolved within 24 hours. Almost 8 weeks later still not taken care. Layer contacted.

I would give them 0 stars if i could , my mortgage was switched to this company and it was nothing but problems until i sold my home . Poor customer service , website function inadequate, told multiple things by different representatives and it was never followed through . Issues with billing . Because of their poor lack of communication my credit score was ruined . It was the worst experience with any company I have ever worked with ! I wouldnt advise any one to get a mortgage with this lender , you will regret it

My mortgage is with Carrington Mortgage Services LLC. My experience with this service provider has been nothing but disappointing. During this pandemic, I have been blessed to be able to continue to make my payments. I called customer service and asked if they could remove the late fee for the month of May 2022, they said they couldn't because you are only allowed one time through the duration of the loan to have a late fee waived.
