Very disappointed with Carrington Customer service. I was applying for mortgage assistance after losing my job. Had to do a call back and the person I talked to apparently cancelled my application instead of taking more information. I called someone back since something seemed off and didn’t make sense. Now they say I need to re-apply but the portal doesn’t even let me fill another application. This company is extremely unprofessional and has incompetent people working for them. Extremely frustrating.
I'm very disappointed in the customer service representation i receive by Carrington Mortgage Employee. The representative became very rude and argumentative when I requested to speak to a Manager. At the beginning of the call she stated she was recording the call and I informed her that I was recording the call as well. Later in the call she told me I couldn't record the call because it's a violation of their company policy. The worst company, very unprofessional! They take forever to close a loan, they keep asking fo the same stuff over and over. They send you letters that your loan is approved and they never closed the loan.
This mortgage lender is extremely bad. I signed my mortgage on 1/29/2025 and paid escrow at closing. They didn’t pay my home insurance and it got canceled. I had to pay a penalty. Then Carrington charged me a late fee for February when my closing was 1/29 and I set up automatic payment on 2/11! I called and asked for a refund on the late fee but they wouldn’t and said send a written letter to a fax number to have it reviewed. Carrington should be shut down.
