AVOID AT ALL COST. Sharing my experience in trying to recast my mortgage. There was confusion as to how much would be applied to the principle and where the fee would be applied. I’ve been on maybe 15 phone calls and sent many emails with no reply. There is no point of contact you work with to get your recast done because that team is “back office”. I agree they are the worst banking institution I have ever worked with. They refused to refund my escrow fund after I closed on my house. One of the phone reps actually told me "you should have spoken up at closing if you had escrow money coming to you". After they admitted they had mailed the amount to the seller I was told "maybe you can contact him and let him know that is your money." Absolutely amazing they are in the financial services industry.
Horrible customer service. Little to no communication.
