Beware of this place. Don't trust past reviews. All lies. Took me for 500 didn't do a dam thing. Went to a real mechanic cost me 100 vehicle is fixed.
Finally, an honest mechanic! I found Carriage Motor House through the AAA approved mechanics listing. I have been there several times for basic maintenance for my vehicle, but most recently for brake work on a second vehicle. The owner, Stephen, has years of experience and provides reliable and honest work. Our vehicle was originally taken to Pep Boys for a free brake check, which resulted in an estimate for over $500 of repairs. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! WHAT A RIP OFF.... MY MOTHER WHO IS 76 YEARS OLD NEEDED HER BRAKES AND RODERS REPLACED THE OWNER WAS GOING TO CHARGE HER OVER $1200 AND TOLD HER SHE COULD MAKE WEEKLY PAYMENTS. For the first time, I felt that a mechanic (besides my brother who is a very honest mechanic) actually had my best interest at heart. I didn't feel as if I was being taken advantage of because I know very little about cars. I can't beleive that there is still an honest mechanic around. This place is neat and clean. I bought a used auto and hasd it check out at the Honda speciality shop next door. I was told that the brakes needed replacement and only had 25% of the pads left, needed the transmission fluid changed and the coolant system flushed.
