I attended the postpartum doula training with Carriage House Birth in December 2025. The CHB team is extremely thoughtful, attentive, kind and funny which makes the time we spent during training not only educational and insightful but also a joy to take part in. Carriage House offers a beautiful holistic and comprehensive program for doulas with emphasis on how to run an inclusive practice to service all families from all backgrounds. As a doula practicing in the American south, I consider my training with them invaluable and would recommend this program to anyone looking to become a doula or birth partner.
Fifteen years after my initial doula training through DONA, I completed a second doula training through Carriage House Birth as a refresh...and what an incredible experience! The training was a wonderful four days long and worth every penny. This was a day longer than my initial training, which allowed for much more in-depth knowledge that my first and was greatly appreciated.
