I’ve lived here for almost 2 years, and unfortunately, since new management, this experience has been frustrating. The new management team is very unresponsive, especially when it comes to maintenance requests. It often takes days (sometimes weeks) to get basic issues addressed—if they get fixed at all. Communication is poor, and follow-ups rarely happen without multiple reminders. It feels like tenant concerns are low priority, and that lack of accountability has made living here stressful. Update: My lease ended on May 31, 2025. When I submitted my notice to terminate my lease alI was informed that since my lease ends on a Saturday to turn my key in on that following Monday. I did that. They charged me rent for those days stating that I did not turn my key in on time. For the last month I have been trying to get my deposit and was told by the manager and regional manager that they could not help me. This complex and company is unprofessional and not trustworthy. I have been living here for 4 years. I pay my rent on time and live as peaceably among those around me as possible. However, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of tenant management here. Everyday I have to wake up to a smoke filled apartment, Yes my apartment smell like marijuana and probably crack. I do not use these drugs. It is so bad I can see the shadows of smoke just circulating in every single room I have in this 2 bedroom apartment. My throat is dry and I have been having strange headaches. I have enjoyed my time here at Carriage Hills . I have been here 5 years and I hate to leave . I am Surely going to miss this place . Sade the previous manager, and Tessa have been nothing but amazing , they always knowhow to make their residents happy .The maintenance team is cool and they get things done in a timely manner . Thanks Carriage Hills it’s been lovely .
