My daughter (8) wanted to try horseback riding so I contacted Carriage Hill. They do a one hour assessment/lesson where they go over all the basics of handling a horse, grooming, tacking and teach the basics of riding. This lesson went well though the in-saddle portion was only about 20 minutes. After that they said they had the perfect group lesson for her to join.
