Poor service, low-quality food I would expect my silverware to be presented without having to ask for it after dinner arrived - 45+ minutes after seating and ordering, but I would be wrong at this establishment. I would also expect dinner to arrive more quickly than 45+ minutes, though even then I could forgive, but ours was lukewarm when it did finally arrive. Joy Tarta Carrabba's is my favorite Restaurant. We go twice or more a month and have never had a bad dinner or poor service. The salads leave something to be desired so we always have the soups. My favorite is the Italian Sausage & Lental. We like the new menu, it was time for a change. The bread & dipping oil is a favorite. Keep up the good work!
Daniel T Well...I am not sure why the experiences from last year are still posted here...my family has enjoyed the most wonderful times at this place over the past several months. The food is always great and the service is sincere and informed. They go out of their way to make sure my young children are part of the experience. Sure, they are extremely busy on the weekends...but we go early or on week nights as we have young children who can not last for the wait time on a Saturday night.
Carrabbas Roanoke does not have many fine Italian restaurants so Carrabbas is probably the best in town. The antipasti is unique in the area. The drinks are good and the menu items ample. Even the take out service is very efficient and friendly. I would suggest to out of towners who are staying near Valley View Mall to dine here. I think it is much nice than the Olive Garden, which is almost next door.
Quality Italian My wife and I have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it every time. The staff are good at their jobs and have always been friendly and attentive. We have had finer Italian dinning, but this is a very quality experience with a fine menu selection and a very nice bar area to wait in for an available table. It is located close to the mall, so it is often very busy on the weekends.
