Financed one vehicle and now there is a waiting list. Be prepared because they pause funding for months at a time. Not sure if they a a reliable company. Had to wait months because they were only financing business accounts and that then rolled into we are “upgrading” our system so funding is on hold for who knows how much longer. Wish we could get some straight answers about what’s going on.
Mixed review here. I first got approved in December. I entered the VIN for a couple of cars I was interested in, I got a message that there was a very high volume of transactions and that it may take some time to get the approval to go forward. It took so long that the vehicles both sold before the approval came in. Now that I have a few other cars I am interested in, their site is completely down. Would give this 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service during the application process. They require you to use PLAID to scrape data from your bank accounts. They tell you that you can submit documents if this doesn't work but after you submit your documents THEN they tell you they can't proceed with your application unless you connect the bank account and they don't approve any loans without the bank account connection through PLAID. No other lender requires this.
I was denied with a credit score of 826. No reason is stated. So before you waste your time and let Carputty wreck your credit, make sure you go to a place that will actually tell you exactly what's going on. Not ridiculously deny you and won't state why.
They turn a “soft pull” on your credit score into submitting your application in order to see any rates. Bait a switch crap!
