I called Carpetstar to look at a blemish that was on the trunk carpet of my show car. Auto upholstery and detailers were not interested. Brad welcommed me to bring the car to his shop so that he could evaluate it before heading out for his appoinments. He was able to make the blemish much less noticeable and did not even charge for his time. I have never met a more personable and helpful person. They did carpet stretching and fixed a carpet seam. Left a complete mess in the areas they worked in. Did not have a vacuum cleaner to clean the mess. Tried to clean carpets with a broom! It is absurd and comical to try to clean carpets with a broom, especially for a company that does carpet cleaning. It did not work. The owner did not want to give me a price before starting the work. Contacted them to help out with replacing a section of carpet in my apartment ruined by a cat and they were quick, honest, and kind throughout the entire experience! They were flexible working around my schedule, they were honest about estimates, kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, and were very respectful of my home and of the pets in my home while they were doing their work. Quick work and the carpet repair came out wonderful and seamless!
Brad is horrible….. doesn’t like to communicate and argues with the comments on the review post trying to say customers are “unprofessional” when that doesn’t even matter…. You’re the business owner and the one taking the money….. you signed up for it… don’t like it don’t own a business. Very problematic business. Wouldn’t recommend… I’d have to agree with the other bad reviews in the comments, don’t spend your hard earned money on his business and let it go bankrupt.
Outstanding service for a great price! I needed a portion of my carpet padding replaced due to a persistent pet odor. Carpet Star immediately said they could service my request and did an incredible job. Not only did they replace the padding quickly, but also cleaned the subfloor, cleaned the backside of the carpet, re-stretched, reinstalled, and then cleaned the topside of the carpet. I am blown away and will definitely be calling again for any other flooring related jobs.
