Wish I read the reviews first but there is no such thing as service in this store. You walk in and noone comes to help you, just a bunch of middle aged guys sitting behind their computer as if you're invisible. Long story short, after being abused making a polite comment about their (lack of) service, I went elsewhere and it was a breath of fresh air! A warm smile AND reasonable prices for the same carpet and underlay. So if you want to be ripped off and abused, come here
Drove to the store yesterday and after spending 10 mins to get a car park, the front door had a sign up "back in 5 mins". I stood there for 25 mins (this was at 11.45am) and I could see a guy in the store sitting at a desk. I gently rattled the door so he could see that I was there, he looked up and ignored. Bad service and just rude.
Not being a particularly seasoned renovator... my knowledge of flooring is somewhat limited. Nick was very helpful and made some suggestions even on colour scheme. Due to travel I kept changing the dates for installation! Nick and Hall's Carpet Hawthorn team were very patient and accomodating. The installer was punctual and professional. Floors look great i am very happy with price and service. Highly recommend these guys.
There is Absolutely nothing good to say about Hawthorn Carpet Court, PAUL is the Rudest Person I’ve ever had to deal with in my Life, we were ripped off with the price he Charged us. Every time I called to ask a question , he made me feel nervous & would never give a straight answer, he also would hang up the phone on me saying he was busy, he had me in tears on many occasions. Tried to get my floor boards done with them for over a year. Very poor service, ended up using Solomons instead who had it done in a week. They just didn’t seem like they needed my business, very slack in calling back and following up. Other reviews say similar, don’t waste your time with them, go somewhere who actually want your business.
