I feel very fortunate to have landed at CARON. We’re still paying off some expenses that the insurance company did not offer but well worth the money. Coming up on one year sober May 29. I couldn’t have done it without Karen for 56 days, the Iop for months, the Monday zoom women’s literature meeting, looking forward to the Alumni events, and maybe even the talent night. With a year of sobriety under my belt soon, I will be applying for jobs at Caron. I’d like to get back in someway and I have some ideas about how to do that!

I am writing to give an update about my experience in this facility. I went there because the facility advertised itself as a specialty trauma center. I did all the work, never had a problem with anybody, and nobody ever told me that I was doing poorly in my treatment. Never. The day before I was to leave, my counselor ("Sarah") ambushed me with a lawyer and tried to pressure me to enter another Caron facility in Florida for $75,000 a month (that is not a typo). I worked with Caron in helping a family member seek treatment. I've never dealt with people who genuinely care so much about the well being of their patients. The councilors were always accessible, knowledgeable, and understanding, even at odd times or weekends. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. After dealing with multiple rehab centers over the years, I highly recommend Caron for anyone who would like the help in getting their life back.
