I wish I could give zero stars for this place. My husband started complaining of chest pain and burning and said his lungs were on fire. We got to the ER and they started a chest triage emergency workup on him, you could see the STEMI starting on the very first EKG they did, (according to 2 separate medical professionals) The whole time my husband was in tears begging for help and we were repeatedly told by the nurses, to be patient and we had to wait our turn for the doctor. 38 minutes after the first EKG was done he coded ... read more
Caromont always screws up insurance... Not only did Caromont not file correctly but the Drs at the hospital have their OWN and totally separate corporation. I am left with a $1300 bill, not because of not having insurance, but because the Drs corporation will not file this against my insurance and Caromont is "not part of the issue". The Drs corp have no one to talk to except those in a scam ridden Country in Asia. They want all my personal information SSN...ect. I am not comfortable giving this out over the phone. Another poor experience here at the Mt. Holly location. The manager Julia hung up on me instead of hearing my concern about their lack of urgency when my son was there for a head injury. Do not come here unless you're dying. And even then, I would consider other options if at all possible.
I am incredibly dissatisfied with my experience at this facility, and I would give it zero stars if I could. I will not be returning. Sarah Baysal, in particular, exhibited unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Her bedside manner was appalling, and she displayed clear frustration throughout the entire interaction. It was impossible to ignore her visible annoyance, including exaggerated eye rolls that were not only unprofessional but also deeply unsettling. I came into the ER 2/19 with second degree burns over my legs, the nurse was very quick to get me back, get any labs drawn and IV placed before the computer system went down. Nurse Kim and Nurse Patsy, took great care of me and helped calm my nerves. Dr Johnson was amazing as well.
