This is the worse hospital CaroMont has!!! I came early to have an ultrasound done that I couldn’t eat 8 hrs prior and I got to the point of throwing up so at 6:30 and my appointment was. At 8 they have absolutely NO ONE HERE AND THE WOMAN IS MAKING ME WAIT TIL 8 after telling me we’ll get u in early and it’s now 7:30 and I’m still sitting here while NO ONE IS HERE OH ONE PERSON WALKED IN DOR X-rays that was here for literally 3 mins I understand when my appointment was at 8 but me coming in while there’s NO ONE HERE SHOULD ... read more
While this location might be sad (because I bet when these people were young their dream wasn't "I hope I'm an underpaid clinician, with terrible tools, at the most useless facility possible")- I do take some solace in the idea that is also quite poetic; because now, CaroMont is a place where both dreams and people can go to die.
Took my father in for what we thought was a spider bite. Told them he was diabetic They took his temperature checked his blood pressure and did an x-ray prescribed him. Antibiotics and pain medicine never drew any blood never checked for anything in blood work got him home. He got too shaken uncontrollably, had to put him back in the truck to take him to Lincolnton Hospital, where they checked him Drew blood found out he had Celluloses said it was a good thing that he was brought in when he was before it turned sepsis so the... read more
Super friendly staff from the very beginning from nurse Kenzie , Brittney was awesome and very friendly!! You could easily feel the care from this staff at this facility. In my opinion health care should always start with care and that’s exactly what I felt from start to finish!! Dr. Grammatico was Super thorough very transparent and took steps that 3 prior facilities I had visited with severe pain didn’t come close to the level of care and procedures The doctor performed for my health. Dr. Murphy and his medical staff were amazing! The woman at the front desk on 5/2 was an angel! However, I returned for questions about my doctors note on 5/4, and the front desk worker (rude and young) did NOTHING to help me. Couldn't answer any of my questions, couldn't connect me to anyone to help, basically said I was out of luck-- however they could check me in and I could get a "new" doctors note from a doctor who didn't do my stitches.
