This is the worst facility I've ever been to. I'm am 16 and I went to pick my father up after him having to take an ambulance to the Emergency room. My dad was experiencing extreme back spasms and could barely move. After his x-rays came out inconclusive they basically kicked him out. They barely gave him medicine for his severe pain. The nurse wouldn't even help him get to the BATHROOM!!! I had to exscort him in there and assist him by myself. The people standing by the doors wouldnt assist me with getting him in. "Cheat Death"?? Caromont Health / Gaston Memorial Hospitals motto of "Cheat Death" is inaccurate to say the least. My opinion is they couldn't diagnose a dead animal if you took it there. Once you enter their facility, death surely awaits. Hospital medical staffing is not trained. The RN's, CNA's and Hospitalist are lacking in knowledge and education, using the elderly to "practice" medicine on.
