I required out-of-state surgery for lipedema, as no providers in NC perform this procedure. My board-certified surgeon in Atlanta advised me to establish local wound care for expected post-surgical issues like seromas, which often require repeated drainage. This is both medically appropriate and practical, given the six-hour distance. With Dr. Day, I was met with hostility instead of care. I would return to her for surgery and would recommend her to anyone. Office visits prompt and the hernia surgery I had went smooth and good recovery.
I will never let myself be a patient of this doctor. I used my vacation time from work (which translates to $$), and Carolyn Day bailed out on me. She decided to leave work early and not show up for my appointment that was confirmed! No class at all, no work ethics at all. I definitely DO NOT recommend her as a reliable doctor!! I usually don't leave reviews but her lack of consideration for my time is so disrespectful that i am leaving my 1st review ever!!
