She is down right mean! In fact she is the queen of mean. My wife has a traumatic brain injury, Dr Castillo's recommendation for treatment was to stop letting our Chihuahua sleep in bed with us, I am not kidding! Needless to say we did not return.
Recently moved to ABQ in May. Had new patient appt with Dr. Castillo for 2 1/2 months to see her. Arrived 30 mins ahead like I was told for paperwork. Front office tells me she's running 1 1/2 hours behind. I said I just drove from the westside-30 min drive. "You couldn't have called me". Their response was "She likes to spend alot of time with her patients". I said" I'm not waiting 2 hours" just to see her. The front office never said I'm sorry or anything. I saw her a few years back. She is a horrible person in general. As a Dr. She is rude, condescending, & doesn't listen. She went over time on my appt asking questions and typing notes then had the nerve to blame me. Her overall demeanor is abrasive & combative. She acts like she is looking for a fight. She is not in any way a healer. There is nothing about this Doctor or her bedside manner that I have anything good to say about. This provider is one who should leave New Mexico!. Her substandard care landed me in the hospital. Please retire or leave.
First off she made us wait an hour after our appointment my mother is old and impatient and Dr castillo comes in starts reading someone else's chart when I tell her my mother didn't have some surgery that shes reading off her screen she argued with me several times til she said the patients name told her my mother's name is not the one you're looking at and she said oh , not I apologize just got an attitude and said i've being seeing people since 7am and I haven't been able to go to pee ...and that's our fault why?
