I deeply appreciate the time Carolyn spends with each patient. She always makes me feel safe, acknowledged, heard. She will tell me if a question is out of her wheelhouse and refer to the appropriate doctor/specialty. She does not push pharmaceuticals, she discusses options and takes the time to explain a medication, pros and cons, reviews labs to where I better understand what is happening with my body. Was a super visit. Although my A1c was high, got information about diet and exercise to lower it. Introduced me to drinking La Croix drink to lower sugars. Multiple conventions this summer, trying to eat healthy while attending.
I continue to be so very pleased and happy with each experience with everyone I have interacted with at Skagit Regional. Carolyn is my main provider and she always listens to me and takes my needs seriously. It is so nice to be seen as a real person!
